Snowy Wilderness. Photoshop November 2008
This is an extract from one of my favourite poems by Gerard Manley Hopkins, 'Inversnaid'.
What would the world be, once bereft
Of wet and of wilderness? Let them be left,
O let them be left, wildness and wet;
Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.
G.M Hopkins
It inspired this painting- I wanted to celebrate the wilderness. Crits as always very welcome, I have much to improve upon.
